Would your students benefit from having small group tutoring to help them with a writing assignment? If so, apply to participate in the new Writing Across the Curriculum's small group writing tutorials program.

The program is free: no charge to your department and no cost to your students.

Our experience has been that between 20-25% of a class will attend the group sessions

  • One hour of class time to review the assignment and teach students about successfull writing strategies
  • The course syllabus and the writing assignments students will create

How to apply

In your email, identify

  • the course name and number
  • expected enrollment
  • due date for the writing assignment
  • a description of the writing assignment
  • course lecture times/days of the week

Evaluation of requests

We will seek to accommodate as many requests as we can; we anticipate being able to provide tutoring for up to 20 courses. Requests will be evaluated on the basis of how soon they were submitted and our ability to schedule the tutoring sessions.
